The Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK) easily attaches to the MOLLE on your plate carrier, backpack, or rifle bag. IFAK kits include tourniquet C-A-T, Israeli bandages, rapid hemostatic dressing, and other first aid essentials.
Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK) generally includes select first aid and trauma tools to handle and treat severe bleeding, inadequate airway issues, and more. This emergency first aid kit is often used on military battlefields and helps to improve soldier survivability during dispersed operations.
This Tactical IFAK pouch is compact, portable, and configurable, it can attach directly to a MOLLE vest/harness, or to a 2” duty/gun belt.
Tests proved that the tourniquet C-A-T completely occluded blood flow of an extremity in the event of a traumatic wound with significant hemorrhage.
The Israeli bandage, also known as the Emergency Bandage is a specially designed, first-aid device that is used to stop bleeding from hemorrhagic wounds caused by traumatic injuries in pre-hospital emergency situations.
Notice
The Israeli bandage is not the same as a tourniquet. They are not interchangeable. While Israeli bandages and tourniquets are both used to control bleeding, they function differently and are used for different types of injuries.
A tourniquet is applied above arterial wounds on limbs only. An Israeli bandage is used to apply direct pressure to non-arterial wounds or heavy bleeding in places where you can’t use a tourniquet.
Three kinds of rapid hemostatic dressings to choose from
PerfectSeal® Z Fold Combat Gauze Hemostatic Dressing is the same as QuikClot ® Z Fold Combat Gauze, is a soft, white, sterile, z-folded non-woven gauze, and has an x-ray-detectable strip.
This Z Fold Combat Gauze is impregnated with kaolin, which is an inert mineral shown to be effective in controlling hemorrhage when combined with standard gauze and applied to wounds.
PerfectSeal® Hemostatic Granules are made from Zeolite as a proprietary ingredient. Zeolites are minerals that contain mainly aluminum and silicon compounds. Which controls bleeding by absorbing water from the hemorrhage site through an exothermic reaction, which supports the concentration of coagulation factors and platelets, causing clot formation.
PerfectSeal® stop bleeding powder’s main ingredient is chitosan,
which is a natural polysaccharide chitin deacetylated product, with biodegradability, biocompatibility, non-toxic, and hemostatic.
Super glue for cuts is formulated for medical use and should be kept in your first aid kit. In past wars, military medics used this medical super glue for closing battlefield wounds.
I.V.CATHETER 14g Pen-like/ARS Needle Kit
The needle is inserted into the chest to relieve pressure buildup between the lung and chest wall, allow the air to escape through the needle, and restore normal lung function. Is for patients whose symptoms suggested a collapsed lung (difficulty in breathing, chest drains, etc.).
Chest Seal
The chest seal is meant to control the bleeding and the victim’s airway until they can receive the necessary medical assistance.
Nasopharyngeal airway with lubricat
A nasopharyngeal airway with lubricant is recommended for use as a nasal airway adjunct in semi-conscious or unconscious patients with an intact gag reflex.
Resuscitation mask
A resuscitation mask protects the rescuer from infection whilst performing mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. They also provide a barrier against vomit and other bodily fluids that may be emitted by the casualty during CPR.
These dressings are specially designed for first and second-degree burns. It helps to cool and soothe burns.
Compressed Gauze
Compressed and vacuum-sealed medical gauze is used to deal with serious bleeding. Often used in conjunction with a compression bandage. Can also be used as backing gauze for hemostatic dressings or for wound bandaging.
Elastic Bandage
An elastic bandage gives firm pressure to an injured body part. It gives some support to the injured area and helps limit swelling and ease pain.
Scissors
The First Aid Scissors are an essential item to have in any first aid kit. They are used for cutting materials such as bandages, dressings, and clothing in an emergency situation.
Emergency Blanket
Emergency blankets are designed to reduce heat loss in a person’s body, it’s provided in the situations like trauma such as accidents. The inside silver and outside gold provides protection against cold and hypothermia as well as sun protection
Nitrile gloves
Disposable first-aid gloves are a vital part of a first-aid kit to reduce the risk of infection and cross-contamination.
